I didn't get a desk set

Last weekish (June 28th) was me and Rusty's 7th anniversary! yay!

 I can't believe that it has been 7 years already...but also it kinda feels like "that's it? only 7?" pretty weird. According to this random site the 7th anniversary customary gifts are copper, wool, and a desk set. hummmm. Didn't get one of those but we did have fun! Since our anniversary happened to be the same day as Webelos day camp (Rusty's in cub scouts) AND a ward party that night taking all of our babysitters we had a grand family celebration that evening celebrating the beginning of our family.

 So what do you do after you go to Olive Garden with the kiddos on your anniversary? You go to Lowe's to look at ceiling fans, and buy a compressor of course! (we were in the neighborhood)

 

I know, I know. You all wish you could be awesome and romantic like us. But probably don't try because you wouldn't be able to come close to matching it. But really it was fun and C was actually REALLY good at the restaurant so that was a bonus!

 

But have no fear we're not THAT lame. Over the 4th of July weekend we left C and Soph at the grandparents and went for a little Park City getaway. We went 4 wheeling on Friday the 5th and then stayed in Park City for the night and played tourist and then went to a movie on Sat.
