k, so first things first, Our house is done! (not in these pictures though...but in real life it is!)
And that's all you get for now because ya'll know how I hate uploading pics on this thing. More to come of actual finished house when we move in. Oh and speaking of moving in, so we are closing on it on the June 17 (Friday) and are moving in either Saturday or Tuesday. My vote is Saturday! Except all of our family will be out of town so we'd have to rely solely on good future neighbors to help. we'll see!
Another exciting thing is that Conner has learned to walk! like 3 weeks ago...He's been working at it a little with the furniture holding him up for a monthish but it was over memorial weekend that he finally figured it out. I'm thinking it is because we went appliance shopping then and he got so bored of being with us and there were lots of new shiny things he wanted to motivate him. But now he's a champ!
but with every good thing is not so fun things (yeah that was a weird sentence, sorry) On Thursday we were getting him ready for bed and he fell and hit his head on the fireplace...hearth? is that the part that sticks out and you can sit on? I don't know, whatever it's called that's what he hit and he cracked his head open. We have a Dr in our ward so we called him right up and took him to his house. He decided that little Conner would need stitches so we followed him to Kamas to his clinic and he put 5 stitches in. It was so sad! I'm pretty sure that I cried as much as he did but he was so brave and such a good boy. We had to watch him closely that night to make sure that he didn't have a concussion or anything but aside from the gash on his head he was perfect. So anyway here is his battle wound.
Ug, I don't know why this is sideways. Turn your monitor sideways if you want to see because I don't know how to fix it.
There, in the background, is the evil culprit. Stinkin fireplace.
And that's all. I guess i should get back to packing. As excited as I am to move I sure hope that this is the last time in maybe forever that I move because I'm not a big fan.
