Operation: FATTY revival

Don't let that big belly or those chubby cheeks fool you. Little Miss Sophie, just like her brother, is an itty bitty thing.
Both Conner and Sophie had their well check visits to the doctor on Monday. Conner for his 3 year and Sophie for 6 months. and the stats: (drum roll please....)
Sophie: 24.8 inches long which is the 16%ile
        13 lbs = 9%ile
Her head is 41.2 cm (whatever that means in American) 15%
She isn't quite as little as Conner was, yet. At least she's still on the charts! But we still need to try our darndist to get her a little fatter.

So instead of just letting her eat her toes we'll probably just have to start feeding her real food. dang it.
Here are her first bites of rice cereal that she ate YESTERDAY! mmmmm she seems to like it! Maybe we'll have her rolly pollying soon!
 Conner
So Mr Conner isn't doing as well as we hoped he would too. But he is on the charts so that's a plus! He's 35.6 inches tall (11%) and 26.4 lbs (5%) So we've got a little work to do. I'll be the first to admit that we've been slacking in the Operation:FATTY department since Sophie was born but it's time to start feeding him ice cream drizzled in melted butter again (disclaimer: I really never did do that) so back on the wagon we will a-hop with one more passenger!

See he's already eating more already. all we have to do is stick him in front of the TV with some cereal and he'll mindlessly eat it. I'm a genius mommy!

So anyway wish us luck on our Fatty Fat journey!

Easter Weekend = party party party!!!

Conner turned 3 last Friday! I can't believe it! So Saturday Rusty snuck away from super busy work and we had a little par-tay for the little guy. His most fav. thing in the world right now is Cars (the movie) we are pretty much obsessed. In fact, non-weekend related, every morning for the past like 2 months we have to wake up really early and he says "mom I had a good nap. I wanna watch my new cars movie!" So here they are doing just that.

Anyway, so we had a cars themed b-day party. and He LOVED it!
His "bue cake with wikee keen and tooow mater"
I love that he has his helmet on while blowing out the candles.

His new blue bike. It's a balance bike so it doesn't have pedals but it's supposed to help him learn how to ride a bike without training wheels. He scoots around all over the house with it.
So after the mess of the party (which was lots of fun!) we had to clean up so the Easter Bunny could come because Conner totally didn't get enough presents for his birthday.

Then we went to Oakley for Easter day after church and played with cousins and had an egg hunt. At first when C got outside he dropped his basket and ran straight for poppy's tractor. It took some convincing to get him down and to participate in the hunt but once I told him candy was involved he climbed right down.

Helping dad check the oil on the way home.

So this little stinker doesn't like his pictures taken (which is why I hardly post any of him because he usually throws a blanket over his head just before I get a picture) so these were the only ones we got of him all Easter decked out.

And that was our fun busy crazy weekend!
